NOIA issues statement regarding pause of U.S. offshore wind project
National Ocean Industries Association President Erik Milito issued the following statement after Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum halted construction activities听of the Empire Wind offshore wind project and ordered a听review of both existing and pending offshore wind permits:

Decades of experience ensures these industries coexist seamlessly with vital marine activities, including fishing, military operations, tourism, and maritime commerce.
