Erosion-corrosion Assessment of Carbon Steels in HPHT Sweet Corrosive Environment
Simultaneous action of erosion and corrosion due to the presence of sand particles flowing in a corrosive fluid produces high degradation rate and decreases the throughput and useful life of the equipment. This presentation will cover the erosion-corrosion performance of three abrasion resistant carbon steels in HPHT corrosive environment.
