Mexican industrial valve manufacturer Walworth opened its new production plant in Dubai, UAE, a key strategic step to strengthen its presence in the Middle East and significantly improve its supply chain in the region.

For the last 15 years, Dubai has served as Walworth's vital commercial hub in the Middle East, functioning effectively as our distribution and sales center. With the rise of nearshoring, new regulations on local content, and Dubai's strategic geographic location, we are taking decisive action to expand our operations by establishing a production facility in the region.

“The opening of our new plant in Dubai is a significant milestone for Walworth,” said Gabriel Rojas, Marketing and Sales Director at Walworth. “This facility will bring us closer to our customers in the Middle East, enhance our delivery times, and strengthen our presence in key markets, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain. This expansion will allow us to continue delivering innovative solutions and high-quality products, solidifying Walworth's position as a global leader in the industrial valve industry.”

With this new plant, Walworth aims to not only boost its sales in the region but also contribute to the "Make it in the Emirates" initiative promoted by the government of the United Arab Emirates. This initiative encourages local manufacturing as a key driver of economic development.

In its initial phase, the plant will generate 80 to 100 direct jobs, significantly benefiting the community and strengthening industrial partnerships in the region. This development will empower Walworth to effectively meet the rising market demand, delivering products faster and achieving substantial improvements in supply chain efficiency. With localized production, the company will be strategically positioned to support critical energy, industrial, and infrastructure projects while consistently upholding the highest quality standards that define its brand.
